Again this year, Citrix will recognize the great work of our partners at Citrix Summit 2016 in Las Vegas with the Citrix Innovation Award for Partners.
This award honors the Citrix Solution Advisors, Service Providers, and System Integrators around the world that drive innovation for their customers through Citrix products.
The award program is an opportunity for Citrix partners to demonstrate how they deliver significant business value for their customers in unique or creative ways, while enabling the Citrix vision of flexibility and freedom for users, and security and control for IT. The award showcases best practice examples and best-in-class solutions to help inspire our global partner network.

The selection process
Citrix solicited our worldwide channel teams for nominations from eligible organizations within our partner communities earlier this year, resulting in over 50 submissions from across the globe. It was no easy task, but from those submissions, Citrix selected three finalists to be featured with their customers in professionally produced videos.
Here’s a look at the finalists whose exemplary stories of innovation and transformation represent the 2015 Citrix partner initiatives that will carry into 2016 and beyond.
Forthright Technology Partners
Forthright Technology Partners (formerly Synergy Development) is a solution provider that takes a different approach to IT. Working with Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, Forthright architected and deployed a global application delivery solution that enabled RCCL to deliver an exceptional customer experience – from booking, to cruising, to planning the next vacation – all powered by Citrix. Gotham Technology Group
Shelton Public Schools in Fairfield County, Connecticut faced an enormous feat: level the educational playing field for students of diverse socioeconomic backgrounds while moving toward an environment where Web-based and Windows-friendly applications can work together. Collaborating with Gotham and Citrix allowed the school district to extend their existing Citrix XenApp environment to deliver access to applications while providing each student, teacher and faculty member with an empowered user experience. Kelway, a CDW Company, is an established and trusted IT services and solutions provider. Kelway implemented a flexible and efficient IT environment for children’s charity Action for Children. This workplace transformation project digitally enabled the charity, empowering their 6,000 staff across 400 sites in the UK to spend more time with vulnerable children and families. (More…)
After detailed reviews and careful consideration, new this year, three additional partners have been recognized with the distinction of Honorable Mention.
Fujitsu is the leading Japanese information and communication technology (ICT) company, offering a full range of technology products, solutions and services. Fujitsu designed a comprehensive “Workplace of the Future” system for Bundesagentur fuer Arbeit (BA) – Germany’s Federal Employment Agency – that provides BA’s employees across Germany with easy and secure access to their applications, virtual desktops and data.
Ozona is a company created, in 2002, by a professional group that believed in the future of virtualization. Today, it has built a real company in which people are its most important assets. Training is an essential pillar of its model, and the certification is the guarantee of quality service. Técnicas Reunidas is the biggest engineering company in Spain and Portugal that design power plants all over the world. The main challenge was how they could work with CAD applications like Intergraph SmartPlant and others, sharing the same database and model. With this solution, they would work on the same design with people living in different places.
