In this business, heroes don’t always wear capes. But we can tell they’re around by the contented smiles of users—who are, of course, blissfully unaware of the enormous effort that goes into keeping their apps working and their network running and their work lives easy.

These are the people we’re seeking in the 2016 Call for Topics—the wizards of design, the superstars of deployment, the innovators. If you’re an unsung hero of IT, share your secrets as a guest presenter at Citrix Synergy 2016, May 24–26 at The Venetian | The Palazzo Congress Center in Las Vegas. Our judges are looking for great stories about how you solved the toughest challenges, and your peers are looking for wisdom shared and lessons learned.

IT heroes, it’s your turn in the spotlight
Whether your expertise is enterprise mobility management, app and desktop virtualization, DaaS, or something else entirely, your experience will be incredibly valuable to your colleagues. Guest presenters are one of the highlights of Synergy every year, so submit your proposal today.

Deep-dive technical topics are the most popular at Synergy. Attendees especially appreciate practical guidance on planning, design and implementation—in other words, how to get projects completed on time, within budget with great results.

Other topics attendees want to hear about:
• Hybrid cloud solutions
• Securing mobile data and applications
• Social and real-time collaboration
• Networking

If you have a proposal that targets one of these areas, make sure it’s educational, technically detailed and credible, and supported with case studies and demos. Offer plenty of insights and practical information (and no marketing hype).

The selection process
Your submission will be evaluated by an independent selection panel of analysts, enterprise IT professionals and other industry thought leaders. They’ll be looking for interesting, technically rich content and will select proposals based on the relevance of the topic and the experience of the speaker.

Thanks to our Synergy Review Committee, which includes:
• Christian Kane, Analyst, Forrester Research, Inc.
• Darrell Bramer, Technology Director, Humana Inc.
• Jarian Gibson, Independent Consultant/Solutions Architect, Jarian Gibson Consulting, LLC
• Jay Greenidge, Director of Engineering and Architecture for Technical Services, Sutter Health
• Manoj Doshi, Director of Client Technology Innovation, Aetna
• Rick Dehlinger, Vice President of Global Technical Services, Atlantis Computing
• Stacy Crook, Research Director, IDC

Submission deadline is November 30, 2015
The online proposal is easy to complete; just fill in the presentation title/abstract, a speaker bio and contact information. New this year, you are encouraged to include a five-minute video describing your session topic. Plus, the lead presenter of each selected session will receive a complimentary full conference pass to Synergy 2016.
