We recently announced the general availability of Citrix Lifecycle Management, delivered as a service through Citrix Workspace Cloud.
We are excited about this launch and know this would enable our customers and partners simplify the lifecycle management of Citrix workloads and enterprise applications.
Many of our customers and partners have already tried out Citrix Lifecycle Management and they love it! The response has been phenomenal. But don’t just take our word for it. Here’s what some bloggers have to say about Lifecycle Management:
Easy to deploy Citrix workloads on any environment:
To begin, a fellow Citrix employee, Sr. Systems Engineer George Kuruvilla wrote about his firsthand experience with Citrix Lifecycle Management. In his blog post, George highlighted how easy it is to do an automated XenApp deployment on ANY cloud.
Deploy, but also Manage deployments on an ongoing basis:
Trond Eirik Haavarstein (aka Eric) is a Citrix Consultant from Norway who is known to customers, companies and individuals around the world for XenAppBlog.com and XenAppTraining.com, where he shares his real world experience with Citrix and Microsoft products.
Recently, Eric provided an introduction to Citrix Lifecycle Management, where he highlighted the basics of custom scripts and blueprints.
He followed it up with a deeper dive post that shared some great examples on monitoring, as well as adding Splunk, uberAgent and ControlUp to the mix.
Easily ‘design’ custom blueprints for specific business needs:
These blogs demonstrate the power of Citrix Lifecycle Management. While the product includes out-of-the-box blueprints for Citrix products, it’s very easy to create custom blueprints incorporating your own scripts to extend the product capability.
Another example of enthusiastic success is the VMware Horizon View-t- Citrix XenDesktop blueprint that we recently released. Fellow Citrix employee, Senior Director of Technical Marketing, Vishal Ganeriwala, blogged about how to migrate to Citrix XenDesktop to VMware Horizon (and do it with ease) using Citrix Lifecycle Management and the migration kit.
A great platform for our XenApp ISV ecosystem partners to leverage:
Andrew Wood is a Solutions Architect for our partner Atlantis Computing and a Citrix Technology Professional (CTP). Andrew tried out the blueprint, too, and was pretty impressed with how Lifecycle Management made it real easy to migrate from VMware Horizon View to Citrix XenDesktop.
We hope that these examples have piqued your interest in Citrix Lifecycle Management and encourage you to start your free trial of Citrix Lifecycle Management. Let us know what you think of Citrix Lifecycle Management, we would certainly love to add your experience to future blogs. 🙂
