Citrix Synergy 2015 in Orlando was a great success. I enjoyed seeing many of you there and was pleased by the numbers of people who joined virtually from all over the globe, watching the live stream of keynotes and sessions on SynergyTV.
The atmosphere was electric throughout the Orange County Convention Center, as partners and customers explored the software-defined workplace and what it means for the future of IT. Partners displayed complementary and exciting new technologies in the Solutions Expo and were recognized for their outstanding products in the Best of Citrix Synergy 2015 Awards, hosted by our media partner TechTarget (congratulations to Nutanix for your Best in Show win! Read the Daily Digest for details on all our winners). We also celebrated customer Aer Lingus, the 10th anniversary Citrix Innovation Award winner.
Highlights from the conference included:
Keynotes—Citrix CEO Mark Templeton shared his unique perspective on how Citrix is leading the transition to the software-defined workplace in the Opening Keynote, and the General Session focused on areas of innovation across the Citrix portfolio with tech talks and demos of exciting new technology such as Citrix Workspace Cloud, Citrix CloudBridge Virtual WAN and the integration of Framehawk technology into HDX, along with an all-new Citrix Receiver to deliver an unmatched mobile workspace experience. Visit the Citrix Newsroom for details on all of the announcements from Synergy.
Sessions—In addition to breakout sessions in four tracks—mobility, virtualization, networking and cloud—Synergy featured industry-focused sessions led by Citrix experts and customer champions that demonstrated the quantifiable benefits mobility is bringing to healthcare, education, financial services and government.
Labs—If you were following #citrixsynergy on Twitter, you know that attendees were “stoked” and “excited” by the preconference Instructor-led Learning Lab workshop. Desktop and app virtualization and networking labs were the most popular, and we had great feedback on doing labs before the conference to give everyone an opportunity to focus on the in-depth training.
You can revisit highlights from Synergy on the exclusive conference channel: SynergyTV has it all, on demand, from sessions and keynotes to highlights and interviews from the seven-part hosted series that featured live coverage from the conference floor. Explore trends and innovations, watch demos, and experience the intensive training that is a hallmark of Synergy, right on your personal device from wherever you are.
If you were able to join us in Orlando, I hope the time you spent at Synergy was a great investment, delivering new knowledge, skills and expanded professional relationships.
