As humans, the desire to be connected to each other is at the heart of all we do.

There’s a lot of technology and things out there that exist for this sole purpose. It was with this in mind that Citrix CubeFree and iPass teamed up to help remote workers and road warriors stay plugged in, productive, and connected wherever they are. CubeFree, an app that helps mobile workers find places to work outside the office, now includes a half-million iPass Wi-Fi hotspots around the world.

Turning to Sir Isaac Newton in his blog, iPass President and CEO Gary Griffiths quotes, “‘If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.’ As the number of ‘things’ with which to connect increases — or the giants get taller — the better the chances for creativity.”

To put it more plainly, the more connections we have, the more magic we can create. For many remote workers, isolation, loneliness, and disconnection hinder creativity and productivity. CubeFree helps people find places where they can plug in, get work done, and make a serendipitous connection or two.

And as Gary Griffiths says, “So it is only natural that CubeFree and iPass, with a shared vision of the power of a connected world, would form a partnership.  iPass, whose nearly 20M hot spots make up the world’s largest commercial Wi-Fi network, helps to make sure that CubeFree users can always be connected to that Excel spreadsheet, a YouTube video, or a Billy Collins poem. For when you’re on the road, it’s all about always being able to connect to the people and things that matter most.”
