Turn-key marketing and sales resources help drive business
I’ve found that most everyone agrees that building a great Desktops-as-a-Service or hosted workspace service is one thing, but without effective sales and marketing, adoption and growth is going to be limited. Instead of a “if you build it, they will come” mentality, savvy services providers that I talk to understand that “if you market it, they will come.”
I spend a lot of time in the field working directly with our Citrix Service Provider Partners so I can certainly attest to the fact that your time and resources are at a premium, especially when getting ready to launch a new Citrix-powered DaaS solution. Anything that helps accelerate your time-to-market and makes your lives easier is a big win. If fact, marketing, sales and business planning resources are some of the top most requested materials that our partners ask for.
Today, I’m excited to introduce some new turn-key marketing and sales tools for Citrix Service Provider Partners. These are great additions to existing marketing and sales tools in the Center of Excellence (Citrix Partner login required).
The first is the Desktops-as-a-Service Messaging Guide, a complete messaging source document designed to assist you with developing your own messaging and positioning for your Desktops-as-a-Service and Hosted Workspace solutions. It includes ready-to-go copy block descriptions, buyer persona profiles, benefits and value propositions, feature descriptions and more. You may choose to simply use this as is (Ctrl+C/Ctrl+V) or take bits and pieces for creating you’re very own messaging guide. Either way, this is great way to simplify things when it comes time to write website copy, create customer and sales presentations or build other sales and marketing assets.
Next is a pair of customer facing Hosted Desktops and Workspaces Brochures that are ready to be put in the hands of your sales team, downloaded from your website or distributed at your next event. Two flavors are available, a fully customizable version and a ready-to-go, generic version. The Customizable Hosted Desktops and Workspaces Brochure can easily be edited in Microsoft Publisher to include your company’s logo, solution name, unique messaging, benefits and call to actions. The generic Hosted Desktops and Workspaces Brochure does not include any partner customizations, but it’s completely turn-key and ready for use. To no surprise, the messaging and benefits of both are based on the Desktops-as-a-Service Messaging Guideso you’ll have consistency across all of you marketing assets.
