One of the most popular attractions at Citrix Summit is the excellent learning opportunity. Instructor-led Learning Labs provide an in-depth technical learning experience in a small group, under the supervision of some of our expert technologists here at Citrix.

At Summit you can sign up for learning labs covering VirtualizationNetworking and Mobility. Once you are registered for the event, use the My Event Planning tool in your My Summit Event Account to select available lab classes and reserve your seat as these will fill up quick!.

1. Evin Safdia

Position: Senior Technical Specialist
Labs instructing: Upgrading legacy XenApp to the new XenApp 7.6
Years experience: 5
Certifications:  CCE-V, CCIA, MCSA, MCTS, MCS, VMWare Certified Associate
Top tip:  When working with Virtual Machines, snapshot, snapshot, snapshot!
While not working: Evin likes spending time with my family, modifying his VW GTI or trail biking.

2. Adolfo Montoya

Position: Lead Support Readiness Specialist
Labs instructing: Troubleshooting methodology and strategies for XenMobile
Years experience: 10
Certifications: CCP-M, CCIA
Top tip: knowledge is power; sharing it is my primary mission
While not working:  Adolfo spends time traveling around the world, enjoying great food and listening to trance/house music.

3. Jonathan Campos

Position: Senior Technical Specialist
Labs instructing: Improving Microsoft Exchange 2013 performance with NetScaler
Years experience: 7
Certifications:  CCA-Networking, MCITP-Windows Server 2008, CCNA Voice, CCNA Route + Switch.
Top tip: nsroot / nsroot
While not working: Jonathan likes working on his VW GTI, spending time with his family, and enjoying some great American football.

4. Christopher Rudolph

Position: Technical Specialist
Labs instructing: Enhancing mobile device experience with NetScaler MobileStream
Years experience: 5
Certifications: Citrix Certified Professional ­ Networking, Citrix Certified Administrator- NetScaler 10
Top tip: When all else fails reboot the NetScaler. Or- Remember nsroot is NOT a secure password.
While not working:  Christopher enjoys watching classic TV shows with his wife and volunteering for Dachshund rescue.


5. Curtis Kegler

Position: Technical Specialist
Labs instructing: Exploring the security features of XenMobile enterprise
Years experience: 10
Certifications: CCP-Mobility
While not working: Curtis enjoys spending time with his family.


6. Mick Glover

Position: Senior Readiness Specialist
Labs instructing: Advanced configuration of XenApp and XenDesktop 7.6 using the Powershell SDK
Years experience: 18
Certifications: CCI, CCIA, CCEE, MCSE
Top tip: Follow @XDtipster for lots of cool XenDesktop related tips and guidance.
While not working: Mick spends most of his time cleaning up and looking after four small boys and playing acoustic guitar any chance he gets.

7. Mike Palmer

Position: Lead Technical Specialist
Labs instructing: New features of XenApp 7.6
Years experience: 10
Certifications: CCE-V
While not working: Mike is an avid photographer

8. Kim Ferrie

Position: Lead Readiness Specialist
Labs instructing: Advanced configuration of XenApp and XenDesktop 7.6 using the Powershell SDK
Years experience: 15+
Certifications: CCI
Top tip: Powershell is your friend
While not working: Kim enjoys running, kickboxing and coaching her daughters’ soccer teams.
