This week at Intel Developer Forum 14 #IDF14 in San Francisco, Citrix and Intel will highlight our expanded partnership with a number of new technology demonstrations including showing a Tech Preview of Citrix Receiver for Chrome running on the newest generation of Intel Core i3 Processor based Chromebooks from Acer and Dell.

With built in security, ease of use, simplified management and a new lineup of exciting form factors, interest in Chromebooks continues to grow in the enterprise. Organizations need to give users secure access to Windows apps and mission critical line of business applications from any Chrome devices. The new Citrix Receiver for Chrome app will provide access to our market leading Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop offerings which enable secure and remote access to Windows, Web and Business apps from any Chrome device. Of course, Citrix can also securely deliver a full blown Windows desktop to enterprise customers.  

In addition to our expanding partnership with Google, Citrix and Intel continue to work together to bring enterprise users the best app and desktop virtualization experience on the latest Intel Chrome-based devices. Many organizations across a number of verticals including retail, health care, education and finance are now securely and easily delivering Windows and business apps with Citrix Receiver on the newest generation of Intel-based Chromebooks.

Intel and Citrix continue to work together to optimize future Citrix Receiver for Chrome releases with Intel technology and features which will further improve the enterprise performance and user experience. And now the latest Intel Core i3-based Chrome devices from Acer and Dell are Citrix Ready as Citrix continues to validate the newest Chrome-based devices from leading OEMs.

Intel and Citrix will showcase a Tech Preview of Citrix Receiver for Chrome running on new Intel Core i3 Chromebooks from Acer and Dell at IDF in both the Advanced Technology Zone and main Citrix Booth #355.  Intel and Citrix product experts will also present a session on Intel-based Chromebooks with Citrix for the Enterprise on Thursday Sept 11 at 1pm in Room #2007.
