XenMobile 9 introduces a new concept of inactivity time out configuration that provides users the security and not having to worry about setting their phone down and any passerby having access to sensitive work data.

Inactivity Timer provides a container or application time out that can be set to require users PIN or password to resume or start the application. The Inactivity Timer has a default value of 60 minutes that can be modified in minutes values or disable with the value of 0.

Once enabled, the application can be set to enable app passcode protection after the inactivity threshold is reached.

Learn how to configure this and enable users with the best enterprise level mobile application experience in a secure and data lost prevention platform.

Within XenMobile AppController> Settings> Support Options

Click on the pencil to edit value:

Under value you can set up the desired timeout in minutes, for my test I am using 30 minutes:

We can now navigate to App & Docs> iOS Apps > WorxWeb and Edit Application Values

After going through the wizard MDX Policies, we will enable “App passcode”

After the application becomes in-active longer than a minute, the user will need to re-enter their password or PIN, if Worx PIN is enabled.
