Talkboard by Citrix

In September of last year, Bernd Christiansen, CTO of Citrix SaaS Division, announced Talkboard, a new mobile app that makes it easy and enjoyable for visual thinkers to collaborate and communicate on the go. Talkboard helps you capture ideas as they come and work with colleagues to complete. You can work together, live and literally on the same page. Content is saved to the cloud and available to all joined project members. You can work online or offline, together or independently.

Since then hundreds of thousands—from architects to designers, engineers, sales managers, educators and everyone in between—have used Talkboard to visually express thoughts and solve problems.

Today, I’m pleased to announce some exciting updates and hope you will enjoy the new features.

Integrated Audio

The “Talk” is now in Talkboard. With Audio you can now talk with friends and colleagues while you create and ideate – drawing and talking together in the same room or across the globe. We believe audio adds important dimension to visual collaboration and we’re very excited to provide it.

Localized language

We’ve localized Talkboard in five languages so that our Chinese, Japanese, French, German and Spanish speaking users can have a much better experience. Two more, Italian and Portuguese, will follow in the next few weeks.

Image import

We also added the ability to import images from the photo gallery and easily post boards to social sites or import into other apps for viewing, archiving or additional work. Importing images is a top request and we’re so pleased to deliver it.

Try Talkboard (www.talkboardapp.com). It’s free – available on the App Store (exclusively for iPad today).
