Citrix Workspace Services: Mobile Workspaces on the Best Cloud- Yours

Q: Do I need an on premise Desktop Delivery Controller anymore with Workspace Services? A: No – Workspace Services will empower service providers to rapidly build and offer desktops-as-a-service, virtual application delivery and mobility services from any cloud. Workspace Services features cloud-based orchestration and delivery for Citrix technology. Citrix is leveraging many of Microsoft investments in Azure, Remote Desktop Services, RemoteApp, System Center and more for Citrix Workspace Services.

Q: From a Citrix Service Provider perspective, can the mobile workspaces created with Workspace Services still be branded with my brand rather than Citrix branding, just like we can now with hosted desktops? A: Yes. Workspace Services can be fully branded and can be integrated into the Citrix self-service interface that you expose to your tenants.

Q: Would there be a Workspace Services API exposed to us so we could be able to auto-provision, track usage and bill Citrix services for our customers? A: Yes. There will northbound APIs to integrate tenant usage into third party ecommerce systems.
