Today at Cisco Live, Cisco’s annual IT and communications conference, Citrix announced support for Cisco ACI with the availability of a NetScaler device package for the Cisco APIC (Application Policy Infrastructure Controller). With Cisco APIC, Cisco and Citrix customers will easily be able to deliver policy-driven application services in their datacenters.

And we have just not announced our support with ACI. You can come see this technology in action at Cisco Live!

The DevNet zone at Cisco Live! invited six key partners, Citrix NetScaler being the only ADC in this list, to come and highlight technology integration and create a self learning environment for developers. Citrix NetScaler and Cisco will demonstrate integration between the NetScaler and Cisco APIC. You will be able to get a demo as well as try your hand at achieving datacenter automation and business agility by implementing the NetScaler device package, particularly at scale.

We have exciting presentation sessions lined up at the DevNet zone to help you learn and benefit from this deep integration between the two companies. Particularly of notice is a theater presentation: Citrix in the Automated Data Center: Integrate all the APIs! Visit the DevNet zone on May 22 at 9 am to attend this presentation.

Citrix is the only Cisco partner that has a broad set of integrations at every level of the datacenter fabric.

  • Citrix is the recommended ADC of choice to replace the ACE devices
  • NetScaler 1000v is available directly from Cisco to run as a virtual instance on the Nexus 1000v switches via vPath technology
  • NetScaler is the only ADC that is available as  remote services blade on the Nexus 7000 series switches via seamless integration enabled by Cisco RISE
  • Deep product integrations with Cisco ACI, both with APIC-DC and APIC-EM enable an open app-centric policy model that offers investment protection with emphasis on programmability, automation, and scale

Visit the Citrix booth #1321 at Cisco Live and the DevNet Pavillion to learn more. See you there!
