Wow what a day 1, lots of exciting announcements and new products to get my teeth stuck into in the months ahead.

So Tuesday started out with a general session. This session jumped deeper into some of the keynote announcements from the day before.

Steve Daheb kicked off the session by recapping on the Citrix Story before welcoming Sudhakar Ramakrishna on stage. Sudhakar showed some nice architecture diagrams and discussed about deployment blueprints.

Sudhakar moved onto Workspace Services and invited Brad Peterson to give some demos.  As usual the demos went down pretty well.

There was a lot of Mac users in the audience, so the Receiver for Mac demo went down pretty well.

The session then moved onto some customer examples of how they use Citrix technology, videos showcasing how Citrix solutions have changed the way they work.

The demos included examples from Taco, Westpac and CSC.

Next on stage were representatives from Intel and HP demoing the graphics performance via XenDesktop using Intel Crystal Well Processor and HP Moonshot.  This demo went down pretty well and got the audience pretty excited.

So that was about it for the General session.

Next for me was a private session with Brad Peterson for our Customer for Life customers. Brad walked through the whole Citrix Story giving plenty of demos.

Brad even had time to grab a photo with me!

For the remainder of the day I stopped by several of the Services Consulting and Support breakout session. These sessions went down pretty well.  Most of these sessions are being repeated on Thursday due to popularity.

Don’t worry, if your not at Synergy then I plan to convert some of the Support sessions into webinars.  Keep an eye on this site for more details.

In Citrix we work hard and play hard!  So Wednesday evening we were invited to attend the M7 Global Partners Synergy party, held at the House of Blues in downtown Disney. It was a 70’s themed party, so we decorated ourselves in all sorts of stuff 🙂

I even bumped into some familiar faces.

Late night and early start on Thursday. Last day of Synergy with Imagine Dragons to entertain us at the Synergy party.  Looking forward to it.

Lots more photos here from Wednesday.

More from me tomorrow.
