We asked mobile subscribers to find out what they really thought about mobile data usage and the user experience.

The answers show that mobile subscribers’ are afraid of mobile data usage costs as 82% would avoid using an app due to it’s impact on monthly quotas and 58% of mobile subscribers with monthly quotas said they exceed it.

Now we understand there is a difference between perception and reality, but perception certainly does impact behavior.  T-Mobile’s latest announcement of “T-Mobile Abolishes Consumer Overages” addresses the consumer fear of data overages head on.
