He was chosen a CRN Channel Chief for the second year running on the power of his partner-focused initiatives and advocacy of Channel relationships.
Tom’s Unique Leadership Role
Tom says, “Partner enablement is top of mind for us. It is an honor to be recognized as a leader in the Channel by CRN as it underscores our focus on empowering channel partners in delivering real world mobile workstyle and virtualization solutions.”
As both a former Citrix partner and current vice president of worldwide channels and market development, Flink has unique insight that contributes to his success in building partner engagement.
Since Flink joined Citrix in 2008, he has played a vital role in the evolution of the Citrix Partner program.
Growing Channel Programs
Flink emphasizes partner engagement as the channel, the technology market and the Citrix product line evolve. This awareness and responsiveness has led to new, more robust partner tools such as Partner Central and the newly launched Citrix SalesIQ. Tools like these allow for greater partner success as they deliver end-to-end solutions making full use of the Citrix product stack.
Flink and his team also introduced Partner Accelerator, a strategic alliance program between Cisco, NetApp and Citrix, that amplifies complementary technologies as a joint framework well equipped with a suite of solutions to enable partners to deliver the optimal infrastructure for in-demand mobile workspaces.
CRN Channel Chiefs are selected by the CRN editorial team based on channel experience, program innovations, channel-driven revenue, and public support for the importance of IT channel sales.
“We are pleased to highlight the executives throughout the industry who work tirelessly to advance the standing of the channel community within their organizations.
