Lots of great things happened in 2013 for Citrix CloudBridge, and 2014 will be even better for CloudBridge, starting with CloudBridge Release 7.2, now available for download, and the new CloudBridge 2000WS appliance. Here are some details about the new release and new platform:
- The CloudBridge 2000WS provides a fully virtualized, fully licensed, fully supported Windows Server instance in addition to its unique WAN optimization and application acceleration capabilities. This allows for local file storage, local instances of DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory, as well as third party applications.
- The addition of WCCP clustering allows lower cost and lower complexity deployments for locations where higher capacity and reliability are required. With support for up to 32 appliances in one cluster, CloudBridge can “Scale Out” for large deployments.
- With support for AppFlow, CloudBridge provides greater application visibility via third party tools like Splunk. Learn more about Splunk and see the CloudBridge app for Splunk.
