The guide that’s tailored for new XenDesktop users covers both customers who are new to Citrix products and XenApp customers who are moving to or trying out XenDesktop. This guide will help you

  • Learn about master images, machine catalogs, and delivery groups
  • Learn how to publish desktops and applications

Customers upgrading from previous versions of XenDesktop

The guide that’s tailored for customers upgrading from previous versions will help you

  • Identify new terms and terms that have changed with this version
  • Learn what new concepts and components are included in this version
  • Learn how to publish desktops and applications
  • Learn how to upgrade from an earlier XenDesktop installation

Where to find Getting Started Guides

As with previous releases, you can view the getting started guides in eDocs or you can create PDFs on the fly and save them. When you generate a PDF, you can be confident that it has the latest information in eDocs at that time.
