As a member of the Citrix WW Channel Marketing team, I’m inviting you to join the conversation through social media channels. Today I am bringing you ways to build your Citrix XenDesktop 7 knowledge! Not only should you get started with XenDesktop 7 by taking a free online course, described below, but you should also get involved in the course-related conversations to gain further understanding of the XenDesktop 7 architecture, components and key solution scenarios. Don’t delay any longer – start talking and be sure to add XenDesktop 7 skills to your portfolio with upcoming Citrix Education courses and certifications.

This free, two-hour online course, CXD-102, will guide you through desktop and app virtualization terminology and educate you about XenDesktop 7 architecture, components, key solution scenarios and use cases. This course will lay a foundation for assisting customers when they adopt or transition to this new virtualization solution.

This course is recommended for anyone who is interested in XenDesktop 7 or is looking to understand the key changes and architecture in the XenDesktop solution. It is also preparation for taking either the “Managing Citrix XenDesktop 7 Solutions” course or the “Deploying Citrix XenDesktop 7 Solutions” course.

Additionally, pre-registration is now available for these two early release instructor-led courses:

  • CXD-203: Managing Citrix XenDesktop 7 Solutions Early Release
  • CXD-300: Deploying Citrix XenDesktop 7 Solutions Early Release

Go to the XenDesktop 7 training page for further details or reach out to Kevin Strohmeyer.

Make some noise — be a part of the Hubbub!

The topics I’ll cover each month are also presented in Citrix Partner News, but in order to stay on top of best practices, I find that a blog format is more interactive than a newsletter. It gives each of you the opportunity to express your opinions, ask questions and pass the information along to colleagues or customers.

I hope you’ll add your voice to the “Citrix Partner Hubbub”!
