Have you ever wondered how Disneyland would look like when no one is there anymore, when it’s total empty? Well, yesterday evening I had the opportunity to make that experience. After a great first day at the Citrix Summit 2013 in the Anaheim Convention Center with lots of workshops, sessions, keynotes, meetings, discussions and much more, everyone went to the partner appreciation party which took place at Disney California Adventure.
First everyone headed to the Hollywood Studios in Hollywood Land. We were welcomed by (modern versions) of Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum, very funny, followed by lots of food, music etc.
After the party I had the chance to walk through Disney California Adventure in Hollywood Land alone, no one else was there:
That was an interesting experience. Only the music was playing, the Disney employees told me later that it never stops during the night. Actually when you go to Disneyland on a normal day you are not alone at all. Thousands of other guests are with you, but you wish you would be there alone, always being the first in line for the next ride. 🙂
Hmm, to be alone or not to be, that is the question …
A place where you certainly won’t be alone is Citrix Synergy 2013. Thousands of customers, partners and Citrix colleagues will come together to talk about today’s and tomorrow’s mobile, cloud, desktop virtualization and much more. I hope many of you will join us for learning about new solutions, products and technologies, offered by Citrix and our partners. I am looking forward to seeing many of you here in Anaheim.
P.S.: Thanks again to the Citrix event team and Disneyland Park, it was really an exceptional evening, and a great experience for a Disney fan like myself.
