I’m excited. Maker Faire this weekend, an amazing and cool celebration of Silicon Valley (and beyond) culture *. Then Synergy next week in Anaheim. Just too much awesome.

We’re bringing a slice of Silicon Valley to Anaheim with some of our innovative, enterprise-oriented, Citrix Startup Accelerator companies. On Thursday at 2pm, I’m going to share our approach to Open Innovation, Silicon Valley style; followed by a pitching competition, with our startups competing for your approval.

This is more than just a bit of fun, we really need your involvement. Because today almost anything can be made. The question is whether what the entrepreneur is making is “must have, today”. Do they solve a problem that’s at the top of your list? In other words, you’re in the driver’s seat. You have the power to shape our industry.

Come on down, and be part of our ‘maker faire’.

The Citrix Startup Accelerator session is on Thursday at 2pm. Otherwise the Startup Accelerator companies will be at the Citrix Labs expo booth on Wednesday 3-5pm, Thursday 3-5pm (and most probably Tuesday night and Friday morning). Come and chat, or tweet me @michaelharries.
