Citrix has always focused on expanding its market scope and broadening its solution portfolio to meet the needs of our customers and increase opportunity and value for our channel partners. Now, it’s time to enhance the Solution Advisor program structure, incentives and rewards so our partners can keep pace with our continuing innovation and market expansion. Formal announcement of this launch was made in the press release, which also introduces a new Citrix SaaS Advisor program designed to further expand Citrix software-as-a-service channel offerings.

Reshaping the Citrix Solution Advisor program

Citrix is transforming the Solution Advisor program and rewards and benefits structure because we believe in innovating, improving and adapting, especially when it brings benefits to our partners. To become champions, our partners need a channel program that fuels richer, deeper engagement by better recognizing their needs and growth potential. Growth, in turn, is tied to competitive differentiation in key areas such as mobility, desktop virtualization, cloud networking, cloud platforms, collaboration and data sharing.

The net business impacts for Solution Advisors will be greater profits, improved market and competitive differentiation, and increased sales productivity and ease of doing business.

Program enhancements include:

  • Opportunity Registration discounts for cloud networking deals to increase partner profitability and differentiation in a key market
  • Differentiated Advisor Rewards by partner level to acknowledge greater investment with higher rewards
  • Clear, published criteria for achieving Gold and Platinum status to improve transparency and consistency regarding the advancement process
  • Refreshed certification requirements paired with training vouchers to expedite acquisition of the latest knowledge and skills

Introducing the Citrix SaaS Advisor (CSSA) program

We are expanding our cloud channel offerings for service providers, resellers, cloud aggregators and telcos with a new program for delivering Citrix SaaS applications as a standalone offering or as part of a broader solution.

This program enables partners to benefit from the strong SaaS trend by reselling Citrix collaboration, support and data-sharing solutions such as GoToMeeting, Podio, GoToAssist and ShareFile, or by receiving fees for referring opportunities to Citrix.

For solution differentiation, Citrix Service Providers and cloud aggregators can integrate collaboration services into their portals using APIs. The CSSA program also enables managed services and cloud services to deliver secure, high-performance cloud-based applications that have been integrated with third-party services, avoiding the investment required to build these solutions from scratch.

I am very excited about both of these growth-oriented programs, which mark clear paths to greater success for our partners and for Citrix. There will be more to come over the next 18 months when additional initiatives roll out. Stay connected by following us on Twitter @CitrixPartners
