XenApp 4.5 and 5.0 have had a good, long run – almost six years – but all good things come to an end.  XenApp 4.5 and 5.0 end on March 31, 2013.

As these versions ride off into the sunset this spring, you’ll probably want to move your organization and your apps forward, to XenApp 6.5.

So we are running a webinar to walk you through the migration process and discuss your options.

This session will provide a short overview of a XenApp Migration Center and a live demo of a XenApp 5 to 6.5 migration in operation. Also we will discuss, migration best practices, what can be migrated, supported Operating Systems and supported XenApp versions.

XenApp 5.x and XenApp 6.x servers are not supported in the same farm – we will discuss the reasons for this and migration options available should you not choose to use Migration Center.

What you will learn:

  • Windows 2008 and 2008R2 architecture changes
  • Database support
  • Settings that will not migrate
  • Zones
  • Post-migration steps
  • Application paths
  • Worker groups
  • How much time will a migration take

When: Wednesday, 20th March 2013 @ 11am EST/4pm CET

Looking forward to seeing many of you online.
