Firstly Citrix was placed in the Top 20 Virtualization Providers category in the Data Center 100 list – an annual publication that “highlights technology vendors that are powering, supporting and protecting today’s data center. From innovative database software, to green data center technologies, to security and cloud data management services, this list covers it all.”
CRN added, “Citrix’s strongest suit is Windows desktop virtualization, but the company has big plans for cloud and mobility. Its Citrix Receiver provided early access to Windows on iPads and it is now teaming with Cisco to tackle data center deals”
And it doesn’t stop there. In February CRN recognized two Citrix executives; Tom Flink, Vice President of WW Channels and Market Development and Cynthia Gallant, VP of WW Channel Strategy and Development. Flink and Gallant were each named to UBM Tech Channel’s CRN 2013 Channel Chiefs for their proven leadership, channel advocacy and commitment to partner success in 2012. Dubbed the “who’s who of channel management”, this “prestigious list of the most influential and powerful leaders in the IT channel recognizes those executives directly responsible for driving channel sales and growth within their organization, while evangelizing and defending the importance of the channel throughout the entire IT Industry.”
Under their leadership, Citrix recently announced several partner innovations, including updates to tools and resources, new training programs such as Citrix Academy and the newly launched Partner Central which puts everything partners need at their fingertips to successfully manage their partnership, deliver technology and solutions to customers and effectively grow their business.
