Exciting news about Citrix Synergy 2013! For the first time, the industry’s premier conference on mobile workstyles powered by cloud services will be held in Southern California, in sunny Los Angeles.
Silicon Alley in New York or Silicon Hills in Austin – it’s clear the tech industry is expanding outside of San Jose’s Silicon Valley. Why L.A.? Los Angeles is attracting a fast growing population of techies with more than 600 tech startups already calling Silicon Beach their home.
So I am happy to announce that registration is now open for Citrix Synergy Los Angeles. It will be held at the Anaheim Convention Center on May 22nd – 24th.
As always, Synergy has a great agenda with executive insights, best practices, professional interactions, and intense technical training on mobility and cloud platforms, desktop virtualization, cloud networking and social collaboration. All the pieces you need to mobilize your business.
This year’s Synergy will focus on two global trends: consumerization and industrialization.
- Consumerization is the practice of providing a more consumer-like experience in every aspect of business technology. Mobile workstyles, bring your own device (BYOD) initiatives, and workshifting are key to consumerization.
- Industrialization is the shift from building and owning IT to acquiring and delivering IT-as-a-service. Cloud services, private and public clouds, and cloud networking – are essential to delivering IT services to users with speed and agility.
Citrix Summit, the conference designed exclusively for Citrix-valued partners, also kicks off May 20-21. Summit provides the education and training partners need to answer tough questions from customers and move into the future with the latest IT solutions. Registration for Summit is also now open.
All keynotes, breakout sessions and learning labs at both events will concentrate on these trends, allowing attendees to learn about the latest technologies, acquire new skills, and network with peers, Citrix experts and leading IT technology vendors.
I’m looking forward to seeing everyone in Los Angeles. We’ll learn a lot and have a great time.
And side note – if you’re bringing the family, make sure to hit Disneyland and beat the summer rushwith the special ticket offer we’ve arranged for you.
