Synergy Barcelona was a big success, with 4,000 enthusiastic attendees, a packed agenda, a fantastic party and plenty of excitement about new products and technologies from Citrix and our partners. However, the heart of the conference was the breakout sessions, which focused on the most talked-about virtual computing subjects — desktop virtualisation and cloud computing.

All the sessions were great, and some were standing room only!  I thought you’d be interested in a list of the most popular breakouts, which ran the gamut from new product information to best practices. Note that Geek Speak Tonight!, the happy hour event facilitated by CTPs and Citrix CTOs, is right up there with a top ranking.

Here are a few of the many positive comments received via the Synergy survey!

SYN329:  “Best session overall – technical deep dive was great. Lots of content, but well presented…Hopefully there will be a white paper giving overview of this including all new terminologies.”

SYN501 (GSL!): “Very good!! Just great: the combination between the content + beer + hotdogs. We should have this at all sessions.”

SYN509 (GSL!): “Nice to watch another view on VDI and vendors.”
