Please join me in congratulating Citrix on being awarded with the Information Systems Security Association Organization of the Year 2011. The award was presented October 20th at the ISSA International Conference in Baltimore, MD. The ISSA is the world’s leading association of information security professionals and practitioners.
Citrix was honored for outstanding contributions to, and advancement of, the information security profession and the ISSA, along with fifteen industry leaders in other security award categories. On behalf of all who rely on Citrix as a component of their security architecture, I’m proud to accept the ISSA Organization of the Year award. Citrix is deeply committed to providing a Secure By Design foundation empowering information governance, and is delighted to be recognized for our security efforts. In his presentation of the award, ISSA International Board President Kevin Richards recognized the community use of Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop for enabling mobility virtualization and NetScaler for powering over 75% of Internet transactions. Kevin specifically thanked Citrix for supporting ISSA operations, outreach and training through widespread ISSA board and chapter usage of GoToMeeting and GoToWebinar for collaboration.
I’d like to personally thank the ISSA international membership and leadership team for its continued support and confidence in Citrix in being awarded Organization of the Year!
