With every new release of XenApp comes the biggest challenge, migrating your old environment to the latest and greatest version. In the past we opted for a two farm aggregation scenario that left many of you managing multiple farms for longer than desired. Don’t forget the big headache of making sure that both farms had the same settings to avoid an inconsistent user experience. Well that is now a thing of the past with the XenApp Migration Center. It’s now easier than ever to get on the latest release so come to my session and I’ll show you how. I’ll talk about best practices, show you a demo of the new Migration Center tool in action, and you’ll even get to hear from one of our highly respected CTPs about how he employed our new Migration strategy. There’s nothing like first-hand experience to get our minds going. Also, take a look at this awesome new XenApp Upgrade and Migration Guide published by, my team, Citrix Technical Readiness. It’s a good read to help prepare you for some of the topics discussed at my session. This class will be repeated one time only, so don’t miss out. It’s a big room so I want to see you all there. Click here to register for the event. Tweet me at @StacyCitrix and let me know about your migration experiences. I’d love to share them during my session good, bad, or ugly!
