I’m Ingrid Schmidt, the informal host for Citrix Synergy Barcelona on 26-28 October. I’m delighted to serve as your resource for information, advice and guidance on the Synergy conference and the beautiful and historic city of Barcelona. I’ll be providing answers to questions of general interest, from logistics to recreation, on my web page located on the Synergy Barcelona web site, www.citrixsynergy.com/barcelona/networking/ask_ingrid.html. I also welcome your questions at citrixsynergy@citrix.com and you can also follow me on Twitter @AskIngridBCN.

A bit of personal background: I am the director of marketing communications for Citrix Europe, Middle East and Africa, but my knowledge of Barcelona comes from extensive travel to this international city during my career. I have learned a great deal about historic and modern architecture of Barcelona – from the Gothic Quarter to Gaudi. Also, because of my interests in regional cuisine, fashion, opera and modern art, I can provide some guidance in these areas.

I look forward to sharing my insights and recommendations with Synergy attendeees via blogs and web postings so you can get the most from your experience at the conference and in Barcelona. Please let me know how I can help you with understanding and enjoying this lovely city. I want you to have a productive attendance at Synergy while also enjoying Barcelona.
