After the summer break we’re resuming normal service with our TechTalk webinars from the UK. First up is ‘Windows 7 lessons learned’ at 3pm (BST) on 8th September (registration link).

Many organisations are looking at desktop virtualisation as a new way of delivering Windows 7. A good example is Cancer Research UK (click here to find out more). They were consolidating buildings and moving to Windows 7. Using the XenDesktop the to move to Windows 7 was achieved much more quickly than could have been done traditionally.

This webinar, presented by Thomas Berger, will share some of the lessons we have learned about deploying Windows 7 through desktop virtualisation – this will hopefully make your life easier if you have a project like this on the horizon.

On the 22nd September at 3pm (BST) we’ve got a ‘What’s New in XenDesktop 5.5?’ webinar (registration link). David Gaunt a Lead Systems Engineer based in the UK will take you through some of the great new features in this release. We have an open Q&A at the end of the webinar so you’ll get the chance to ask questions about any aspect of XenDesktop you want!

I’ll be posting links to any resources/presentation/recording in this blog after each webinar.
