I am here in San Francisco all this week attending Summit and Synergy. So I’ve decided to keep a diary of my time here so I can share my experiences of the sessions I attend and the people I meet.
Day 1 of Summit started on Monday, I had a busy morning facilitating a XenDesktop POC learning lab delivered by Paul Murray. Interesting session which received lots of good feedback. Hopefully the attendees who were at the session will find it easier to create a XenDesktop POC when they return.
The Summit keynote took place at 2pm, I arrived early to get a good seat, but realized that I had to leave a bit early to attend a customer meeting, so quickly moved to the back of the room Great talk as usual from Mark Templeton all about the “WHY”. I expect we will hear more about this during the week.
Later in the evening the Partner Appreciation party took place in the Marriott hotel. I met up with a few of the Citrix community folks I know from Twitter/Facebook. Good to finally put a face behind the Twitter handle. Good to meet you guys – @archynet, @jariangibson, @Easi123 and @tabularasa138.
I also took lots of pictures during the event, you can find these on the Citrix Support Facebook site.
