A seat at a Hands-on Learning Lab remains the hottest ticket at Synergy! This year, we’ve doubled the number of instructor-led classes over last year, and they have already reached full capacity. We even extended the hours to accommodate more attendees by including a night class, and this one has also filled up!
We appreciate your interest in the Learning Labs program, and we’re hoping those of you who are registered get the most out of these hands-on technical classes.
Important reminder to Learning Lab registrants: Scan your badge at least 15 minutes before starting time to confirm class enrollment and secure your seat. Otherwise, your seat may be reclassified as “standby” and offered to another eager attendee. Remember that the Hilton, where the Learning Labs will be held this year, is a 7-10 minute walk from the Moscone, so make sure you plan ahead! More details here.
Fly standby for a Hands-on Learning Lab
If you’re not registered for a Hands-on Learning Lab, there is still a possibility for you to get into one on site. Here’s how it works: If a registered attendee does not scan their badge at their designated classroom at least 15 minutes before the class starts to confirm their enrollment, their seat will revert to standby. If you are looking to fill any open, unconfirmed seats, you should go directly to the classroom of the specific lab you would like to attend and wait in the standby line. Open seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The Hands-on Learning Labs are “bring your own laptop” (BYOL) so make sure to bring your laptop and power cord.
The Learning Labs are only one part of a tremendous amount of great technical content at Synergy, including Self-paced Learning Labs, technical breakout sessions, Geek Speak Live!, and a free exam worth up to $300!
