Do you own one of these incredible devices from Motorola? Well hopefully you aren’t one of the unlucky ones who happens to be running on anything other than Citrix solutions.

Why I wonder?

I guess history can only help us understand that as a company focused on the user experience its critical to support the choices that consumers are making. And at Citrix we have been doing this for over 20 years! Both of these devices from Motorola are setting the stage for the next generation of computing. Consumers want choice! Choice of how and when they access the applications that make up their daily lives. As a new Atrix owner it took me all of about 5 minutes to get connected to my corporate desktop and application via XenDesktop and XenApp on the Citrix Receiver.

Why is it so easy?

Well lets look at the two of these devices to help you understand. For the Motorola Atrix we have the Citrix Receiver that supports Android 2.2 Froyo, and has since April 2010, but that is simply one of the OS on this device. When you plug it into either the HD Dock or the LapDock you launch a Linux based desktop called WEBTOP. Well guess what, we have a Citrix Receiver for that as well….. and it already has it installed! If you dont believe me and own one of these amazing devices navigate on over to http://wt.citrixcloud.net/ and take a FREE test drive of the Citrix Receiver in action on your mobile computing platform.

Now lets take a quick look at the Motorola Xoom. This amazing tablet is running on Android 3.0 Honeycomb. Guess what. Yes that is right, we have a Receiver for this as well. Again, if you want to feel what it is like to experience a Windows Desktop and Applications running on your tablet or mobile phone swing on over to http://www.citrixcloud.net.

Download the Citrix Receiver from the Android Marketplace.

Here are some great blogs from Chris Fleck to really see the Motorola Atrix in action.

Stay tuned for some hands on reviews of the Xoom!
