Citrix Summit Berlin kicked off today with over 1000 partner attendees from 450 partner companies across 48 countries attending the keynote plenary this afternoon!

Mark Templeton led the session along with Al Monserrat, senior vice president of worldwide sales and services; Scott Herren, managing director and vice president of EMEA; Tom Flink, vice president of world-wide channels and emerging product sales; and Nino Olivotto, vice president of the enterprise and partner group at Microsoft.

It was clear from the buzz around the room (not purely caffeine related!) that the rousing session about how Citrix is working with its partners, across all aspects of the channel ecosystem, to deliver on its vision of delivering IT as a service is driving opportunities for growth across EMEA.

The keynote demonstrated what our partners can expect from our first EMEA-wide Summit event to help up-level our partnerships to be able to deliver what customers want from virtualisation.

With the first day over with, the crowds at the bar suggests Citrix’s partners are doing exactly what Mark shared about the Citrix culture – work hard, play hard, get results… and have fun doing it!
