Synergy Berlin is just round the corner and before our first pan-European event has even started, it’s already a roaring success!
Tickets to the event are now sold out, with a record number of attendees expected at our inaugural show, demonstrating that Synergy is widely recognized as a truly open event. The unprecedented interest in Synergy is also testament to the importance of virtual computing, especially desktop virtualization, on the IT landscape.
Desktop virtualization is rapidly growing in popularity as a more secure, flexible way to deliver Windows desktops and applications to business users in any location, using any device. This makes me think that the Citrix vision of a world where you can work or play from anywhere has never been so real. The notion of “workshifting” is especially salient as people start to use devices for both business and personal reasons – it seems only natural to give workers the ability to work wherever and whenever suits them. I personally move between multiple laptops and my iPad interchangeably – at the office, at home, at our key agencies’ offices – without skipping a beat.
For those of you who are unable to join us in Berlin, we’re going to bring Synergy to you, and make sure you are part of the conversation before, during, and after the conference. Leading up to the event, make sure to visit Synergy Buzz regularly where you can get Twitter updates, blogs about Synergy and video sneak peeks in one convenient location. During the event you can join Synergy Online which will let you see Mark Templeton’s plenary session keynote live on Wednesday, October 6, as well as our CTO-led Super Sessions on Thursday, October 7 as well as recordings of the event’s most popular sessions and all of the content from Synergy Buzz, all in one spot. We promise a few surprises – including giveaways – so make sure to sign up for Synergy Online today!
Whether you are able to join us live in Berlin or online, I really look forward to sharing the Synergy experience with you!
