Ever wanted to know more about the core XenServer architecture, component interaction, sizing, networking, storage, pools and HA…(breath)…plus what if something goes wrong, where do I start and how I do to minimize the risks?
Well during the Learning Lab I will be presenting at this years Synergy event that is exactly what you’ll get. This workshop will provide the theory behind these topics and the hands-on labs will cover common tasks performed in a XenServer environment. These tasks range from minimizing the risks involved in virtualization by backing up the appropriate information to collecting diagnostic information via common log files, network traces, etc.
XenServer is an ecosystem and integrates with almost every part of your environment from your workloads to network to backed storage. This means that things can get pretty complicated when investigating an issue. However by arming yourself with a better understanding of how things work, where issues can occur and where to look for information this process gets easier.
So why not join me for the SYN417W – XenServer Technical Deep Dive and Troubleshooting workshop held on Friday the 14th from 9:00 to 14:30.
And if you’re interesting in what is happening in the client virtualization space why not join me at an Intro Learning Lab, SYN421I – Virtual Desktop delivery to mobile users with XenClient and XenDesktop VM Synchronizer presented by Walter Hofstetter.
Hope to see you there.
