Last November I blogged about one of the most popular tools to come out of Technical Support – Citrix Quick Launch Tool. Yesterday we released an updated verion of the tool based on feedback received from our customers. You can find the 2.0 version here.
So whats new in this release?
- User can specify username, domain and password in the tool which will be used in the ICA session. Note: the password is of course not saved when closing the tool.
- Support for Session Reliability* and enabling/disabling the Desktop toolbar*.
- Hotkeys can be configured from the tool. This include the PrintScreen key behavior* and the Windows hotkeys.
- Dropdown list for the servername. The servers names will be saved when exiting the tool.
- Several bugs fixes
*Note: since the ICA Client Object does not support this feature, if you choose to send the password to the ICA session, it will not be available.
