A great question came into the Ask the Architect email recently focused on storage and RAID configuration for XenDesktop environments. Essentially, what RAID configuration is most appropriate for XenDesktop:

  • RAID 0
  • RAID 1
  • RAID 5
  • RAID 10

As with most good things in life, the answer is it depends. It depends on reading/writing operations, fault tolerance requirements and storage space allocation.  Instead of writing about it, watch the latest Ask the Architect video below
