Citrix Education is pleased to announce that the Citrix Certified Sales Professional (CCSP) 2010 is now available. This update is prompted by the recent, exciting product developments related to the launch of Citrix XenDesktop 4. The CCSP 2010 program includes the latest XenDesktop and XenApp messaging, and will equip partners with the knowledge needed to successfully sell the Citrix core technologies by addressing customer needs and overcoming major sales objections. Plus, it’s available to partners at no cost.

CCSP 2010 Certification Tracks
Like the CCSP 2009, the CCSP 2010 curriculum consists of four specialized tracks; individuals who complete all four tracks will receive the CCSP 2010 for Application Delivery. The CCSP 2010 specialized tracks are as follows:

  •  CCSP 2010 for Desktop Virtualization
  •  CCSP 2010 for Application Virtualization
  •  CCSP 2010 for Server Virtualization
  •  CCSP 2010 for Application Networking

Some requirements from the CCSP 2009 program count toward the CCSP 2010 certification. Specifically, partners holding a CCSP 2009 for Server Virtualization and a CCSP 2009 for Application Networking will automatically receive the new CCSP 2010 designations for those tracks. Citrix strongly encourages partners to take the new XenDesktop and XenApp courses (which are part of the CCSP 2010 for Desktop Virtualization and Application Virtualization tracks, respectively) to stay up to date with the latest sales positioning and licensing changes following XenDesktop 4.
