Citrix Support is focused on ensuring Customer and Partner satisfaction with our products. We are working on multiple items to help make it easier to find answers and solve problems via self-service avenues, all of which are available to all our Partners and Customers to leverage. One of our initiatives has been to launch a series of “How To Videos” focused on key areas that we receive the most support cases and questions for. The first five videos in this series are listed below:

3) Configuring Differential vDisk Mode on Provisioning Service

Description: Difference Disk Image Mode allows saving of changes between reboots. Using this mode, after rebooting, a target device is able to retrieve changes made from previous sessions that differ from the read only vDisk image. The Difference Disk name uniquely identifies the target device by including the target device’s MAC address and disk identifier. A target device can be assigned to multiple vDisks and therefore have multiple cache files associated to it.
