When learning a complex skill, there’s no substitute for hands-on training, and these instructor led hands-on learning labs will give you in-depth experience required to master new Citrix technologies.

Customers look to you for the expertise required to implement and support Citrix solutions. These limited seat, multi-hour trainings will provide step-by-step, hands-on experience with the latest Citrix solutions, including XenDesktop, XenServer, XenApp and the NetScaler Global Server Load Balancing capability. You’ll be able to ask plenty of questions and really get comfortable with these robust and powerful solutions.

The training sessions are BYOL – bring your own laptop. See below for the laptop and browser specifications so you can be ready to just plug in and go once onsite in Orlando.
The following courses are currently offered: #701 – Securing and Load-balancing Multi-site XenApp Farms; #702 – XenApp 5 Hands-on Technical Training; #703 – Technical Training on Using XenServer to Host XenApp; and #704 – XenDesktop: Conducting a Successful Proof of Concept.

Are we wait-listing for the hands-on classes? Yes. If any of the hands-on learning labs are showing as full, registered attendees should e-mail the Summit Registration Desk your name, contact information, and info on the specific hands-on learning lab class (session #, including date and time) you would like to attend, and if a seat becomes available we will automatically schedule you in the class based on your place on the wait list and notify you through email of the assignment.

The training sessions are Free for partners! There is no additional charge for this class if you are a fully registered Summit attendee.
This training is “plug in and go”, so you are required to bring your own laptop in order to participate in the hands-on training. See below for system requirements. Internet connectivity and a power outlet will be provided in the classroom.
In order to increase your chances of securing a seat in the class it is recommended that registered attendees “pre-register” by logging in to your Summit Event Account, and once logged in use the My Schedule tool to add the class to your personal schedule by the deadline date of Sunday, October 26, 6 p.m. ET.
After the deadline date, any open seats are first-come, first-served, and interested attendees may sign up at either of the Hands-on Labs Hospitality Desks located at the entrance to the Northern Hemisphere A1-A4 rooms during desk business hours.
Hours for the Desk managing classes #702 and #703: Monday, October 27: 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Tuesday, October 28: 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Hours for the Desk managing classes #701 and #704: Monday, October 27: 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and Tuesday, October 28: 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m
If you “pre-register” for a seat online you are required to check in at least 20 minutes before class start to confirm it or the seat will revert to “Stand By” which means it becomes open to attendees who can “walk in” to attend. Walk ins are welcome if there are seats available. Check with the staff at the Hospitality Desk to sign up for open seats.
