Sudhakar Ramakrishna is senior vice president of products at Citrix, overseeing the strategy and execution for the company’s enterprise and service provider technology portfolio. Citrix solutions power business mobility through secure, mobile workspaces that provide people with instant access to apps, desktops, data and communications on any device, over any network and cloud.
With more than 20 years of experience across the mobility, networking, security and collaboration markets, Ramakrishna joined Citrix from Polycom, where he was president of products and services. Before Polycom, he was corporate vice president and general manager of Motorola’s wireless broadband business, responsible for building and scaling their 4G and LTE mobile product initiatives. Previously he ran global software operations at Motorola, developing innovative and collaborative teams focused on a wide range of customers, technologies and solutions. Ramakrishna has also held senior leadership roles at Stoke Networks, 3COM and US Robotics, and brings to Citrix a wealth of experience working with enterprise, carrier/operator customers and ecosystem partners.
Ramakrishna brings to Citrix significant experience in strategic planning and execution, organization development, and incubating and scaling new businesses. He has led strategic partnerships with IBM, HP, Huawei, Siemens and others, and has overseen several mergers, acquisitions and divestitures.
Ramakrishna earned his master’s degree in Computer Science from Kansas State, and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. Ramakrishna holds and has filed several patents in the areas of IP telephony, soft switching and load balancing.
