Klaus Oestermann is senior vice president and general manager of the Delivery Networks business unit at Citrix. He is responsible for the strategic direction of the company’s networking, cloud and communication service provider technologies, which are used by a wide variety of customers and partners from communications service providers and enterprises to the largest websites and cloud providers in the world.
Prior to this role, Oestermann was group vice president and general manager of the Networking, Cloud and Service Provider group at Citrix.
Oestermann has been with Citrix for seventeen years and held various other positions within the company, including various consecutive group vice president roles in the company’s R&D organization, and in his earlier career, sales leadership positions in both EMEA and the U.S., as well as responsibility for worldwide channel strategies and development.
He has more than 20 years of senior management experience in the IT industry. Before joining Citrix, he was managing director for CMA Systems, Denmark. He also worked for IBM in a variety of roles.
Oestermann holds a bachelor’s degree - HD Business Diploma Degree in Marketing Management from Copenhagen Business School, as well as an Academy Economist degree in Marketing and Service Management.
