Jesse Lipson is corporate vice president and general manager of Cloud Services at Citrix. He oversees ShareFile, the company’s industry-leading document workflow technology, and Citrix Cloud, which offers a variety of customer and partner deployment options for Citrix mobile, app and desktop delivery solutions. Lipson joined Citrix through the acquisition of ShareFile in October 2011, where he served as CEO.
As CEO of ShareFile, Lipson grew the company and customer base from zero to almost 20,000 customers, with 140 full-time employees and more than four million users without funding. A self-taught software programmer, Lipson has been a full-time entrepreneur since the age of 23. His first venture was Rapidata.net, a pharmaceutical market research company, where he served as president and CEO. In just two years, he helped grow revenues at Rapidata.net by more than 500 percent and laid the foundation for the company’s acquisition by Greenfield Online in early 2005.
Lipson graduated Magna Cum Laude from Duke University with a degree in philosophy.
