Transcript : In this Citrix Support How To video, I’m going to walk you through how to integrate Citrix Access Gateway Standard Edition with Advanced Edition. So my setup is as follows. I have been using Access Gateway Standard edition for a long time with web interface to secure traffic to my published applications. And now I’ve just installed a fresh Access Gateway Advanced edition server, and now I want to integrate my standard appliance with the advanced edition. So, first of all, I need to launch my Access Gateway Standard edition console and…because the integration needs to be done from there. So let’s log in. And I’m also using the standard password, which is root admin. Obviously recommended to change that. So that’s me logged in. I have one appliance in my cluster. And the first thing I need to do is to go to the advanced options tab. And here it tells me how I have my administration method configured. So you can see here I’m just using the administration tool. I need to point it to advanced access control and have…and basically moving all the configuration setup to…or handling all the configuration setup to the advanced console. So I need to specify the server running advanced access control. So I’m going to pop in the IP address. If you are securing the traffic between both standard and advanced, you’d check…you’d need to check secure server communication. I don’t have any certificates setup just yet. It’s obviously advised to do that strongly. Since I’m in a test environment, I’m just going to use it in…just in standard. Okay? So once you choose to add that and click submit, you’re prompted here with just a warning message. Okay? So if you switch configuration settings, you’re just going to lose all your configuration settings within the…your standard edition, everything like that, all the configurations you’ve set up, such as standard. Click OK. Don’t worry about that. You’ve received that. That’s normal. So once you do that, you need to reboot your gateway. So this tells you where to go to reboot your gateway. So I’m just going to click OK there. Go to administration and click restart the appliance. So let’s restart that. And then, in a couple minutes time, we’ll check that everything is being rebooted. Okay, so let’s just check and see if our server’s rebooted. And it has. So let’s just pop back in here to the advanced options tab. We can see now, this is the current status of our administration method. Okay? And then next thing, just to verify that everything is fine, we come back in to the administration console. Okay, so let’s run the discovery just to see that the gateway appliance exists. And, as you can see, after running discovery, we can see that now our appliance appears in the list. And the IP name of that appliance will be the IP address that we…that is assigned to the gateway. As we can see here. And then, from here we can manage the appliance. So any settings that we want to apply to the appliance will be done through the advanced edition console. And that’s it for this How To video. Thank you.
