Transcript : Hi. In this How To video, I’m going to walk you through how to upgrade your Citrix Access Gateway Standard Edition appliance from 4.6 to 4.6.1. It’s important to note that if you’re using a version older than 4.6, you must create a bootable installation CD-ROM or USB key. All information about the instructions to upgrade from older versions is covered in Citrix Article CTX 106192. So the first step, we need to log in to the console, the administration console, and we can determine the version of Access Gateway Standard Edition that we currently have installed. So let me open my browser, and I will browse to my Access Gateway appliance. And we have it listed here. This is a fresh installation of 4.6, so we don’t have any certificates installed, so I’ll continue. And I’m still using the default username password root…root admin. So, it’s logged me in. So to check the version currently installed, if you go to Logging, and as you can see, it tells me I’m using the Standard Edition 4.6, Build 44, and the date. So to…in order to upgrade, first thing you need to do is to download the upgrade file from citrix.com. I have already done this, and I’ve downloaded the 4.6.1, Build 27, which is the (inaudible) version. So that’s located, and I’ve already downloaded that before to save some time. So, in order to upgrade, you need to go to the Maintenance tab. So, within the Maintenance tab, you can do other…perform other instructions like installing certificates and that, but for the purpose of this we just want to upgrade the version. So I’ll go to Browse opposite the Upgrade Server Upgrade or Save Config. I select my upgrade file, 4.6.1. I click upgrade. So this’ll take a few minutes to perform the upgrade. We have a little progress bar at the bottom. So as you can see now, the upgrade has completed, and next step is, we need to reboot the server. So that will take another few minutes to reboot. So I’ll click on Reboot. Okay, so let’s try do a reboot and see if the server’s back up. Our refresher should say. Okay, so it looks like we have it back up. And, as you can see after doing the upgrade under reboot, our edition now is set to 4.6.1, Build 27, and the date of 14th of October 2009. And that’s how you perform an update, or an upgrade, from Access Gateway Standard Edition 4.6 to 4.6.1.
