Citrix and McAfee partner to provide business continuity and regulatory compliance solutions with software for securing data and applications via centralized IT management, such as McAfee Agent, McAfee VirusScan, McAfee AntiSpyware Enterprise and McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator platform.

The McAfee and Citrix strategic partnership makes virtual desktop security simpler and more scalable for large enterprise deployments. The partnership is the direct result of growing customer demand for integrated security in large enterprise deployments of desktop virtualization. The combination enables granular endpoint security policies for each virtual desktop, while overcoming scalability, performance and complexity challenges that arise from virtualization.

Through McAfee’s participation in the Citrix Ready program, customers can be confident that McAfee’s system security and vulnerability management products have successfully passed a series of tests established by Citrix, and can be trusted to work effectively with Citrix XenApp and Citrix XenDesktop.
