- Application-oriented patented algorithm: Optimizes I/O performance by dynamically adjusting hard disk drives (HDDs) read/write according to the read/write modes of hosts.
- Dual-controller dynamic load balancing: The two controllers provide mutual back up through concurrent service processing and dynamic load balancing. Cache mirroring between the two controllers is achieved by dynamically load-balanced, dedicated dual channels.
High Reliability
- Integrated UPS: Adopts the UPS power-off protection technology used in high-end storage systems. Accidental powers-offs cause the built-in UPS to write the cached data to the data coffer to ensure data security.
- Pre-fault data replication: Detects HDD faults in real time and migrates data before the whole RAID array fails to prevent data loss.
- Bad track repairs: Lowers the HDD failure rate by over 50% and prolongs HDD service life by repairing bad tracks.
- Global hot spare disks: Freely located hot spare disks provide hot backups for disk enclosure units.
- Advanced data protection technology: Snapshot technology identically copies and then can instantly restores online data. Multiple copies are taken at different times to provide continuous data protection. Inter-storage platform volume copy technology protects data among heterogeneous storage systems, while remote mirroring provides disaster recovery by mirrorbing data in remote locations.
