Fujitsu FibreCAT SX80
FibreCAT SX80 is the storage system for the data center. FibreCAT SX80 Offers up to 56TB of storage capacity with 1-5 2U enclosures with up to 12 disks (SATA-II or SAS) each.
FibreCAT SX80 offers snapshot functionality. All critical components (RAID controllers, fans, power supplies, disks) are redundant and can be swapped during operations. RAID levels 0, 1, 3, 5, 10, 50 and 6 are available, which ensures that data isn’t lost if a disk fails. FibreCap technology protects RAID controller cache in case of power failure.
FibreCAT SX80 is a fast storage system. This comes from 4 Gigabit per second Fibre Channel technology, which connects to hosts and FibreCache, which uses an interconnect to synchronize RAID Controller caches directly. FibreCache improves performance significantly compared to traditional implementations.
FibreCAT SX80 is easy to use through its preloaded management software that features an intuitive web interface. Snapshot functionality is available at no additional cost.
FibreCAT SX80 is a versatile disk array that can be used for a wide variety of applications, including clusters, storage consolidation, mission critical applications like databases, backup-to-disk and archiving.
