Dell Wyse TCX Multimedia is a software layer which has both the server and client components that work intelligently to redirect multimedia processing tasks dynamically between the client and server.

The multimedia stream is decoded on the client thereby freeing up the processing power on the server to handle mission critical application delivery to the end user. The software is agnostic to the backend infrastructure already in place in the data center.

The client side components are built into the Dell Wyse cloud client computing operating systems. The Dell Wyse thin clients, which include these components, provide the experience for multimedia playback, which cannot be matched even by regular Personal Computers when connecting through an ICA/RDP connection to the data center.
