Extentrix Web Services 1.0 -- Management Edition provides an extensive set of Web services APIs allowing developers to manage Citrix Presentation Server™ and control action functionalities (such as delete Admin, enable session, disable application, etc.) simplifying the process of managing Citrix Presentation Server through the Web.

Built on SOAP protocol, XML and WSDL, Extentrix Web Services 1.0 -- Management Edition represents a standard way to communicate with the Citrix Application Delivery Infrastructure.

Working closely with Extentrix Web Services 2.0 — Application Edition gives developers unlimited power to launch and enumerate Citrix Published Applications through standard protocols.

For the first time, Citrix users can integrate administrative tasks with their products or portal through Industry standard Web Services. This will open new wave of products and tools to be developed by Citrix third-party developers. Citrix customers will be empowered with new and easy ways to do the job through a simpler interface and better integration with their own tools.

• Ability to Keep the Control Remotely
  Controlling Citrix Presentation is usually done using Citrix Management console, Citrix Application Delivery Infrastructure, or using any developed application that uses the MFCOM APIs. All of those previous ways are hold in the presentation server itself, and you need to be logged in locally or through ICA® Client. Extentrix Web Services allows you to remotely manage Citrix Farm by consuming its APIs into your portal or into your favorite management tools.

• Very Easy to Use Web-Based Client
  Extentrix Web Access Management Console is a Web-based client that utilizes the new web services APIs. It has a nice UI with a familiar tree based design based on Citrix Access Management Console which provides you with rich functionalities to perform tasks easily and with a detailed manual that describes and explains how to use it.

• Platform Independent and Simple to Integrate
  It is platform and language independent, meaning it is not important what programming language you use or on which platform you are working on. Just import the WSDL file, and experience how powerful it is. And since Extentrix Web Services 1.0 -- Management Edition is a platform and programming language independent, it’s simple to integrate it with any application written on any programming language, running on any platform.
